This person must have a strong background in controls equipment for manufacturing.

Duties of the Automation Production Manager:

Manage the day-to-day production in a highly automated manufacturing environment
Develop SOPs and layouts for highly automated manufacturing processes
Assist with the programming and troubleshooting of PLCs and HMIs
Ensure safety standards are strictly followed
Lead and train employees in an automated manufacturing environment
Conduct performance management of employees in area
Coordinate with maintenance to develop planned maintenance schedules and ensure equipment reliability
Monitor KPIs and make adjustments to processes and equipment based on findings
Lead the root cause analysis and corrective action of process and equipment issues

Requirements of the Automation Production Manager:

Previous leadership experience in a highly automated production environment
Strong hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and other automation
Proactive leadership and communication skills
