Aerotek Environmental Services is seeking a HAZMAT Driver (Environmental Technician).
Job Description:
The Hazmat Driver will be responsible for local routes for scheduled drum pick ups.
Qualifications:
•OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Training
•CDL Class B Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
•Respirator certified or ability to become
•3-5 years experience
•High School diploma required, 2 years college preferred
•Ability to manage 55-gallon drums of material
Performance Expectations:
•Recognizing Manifests, LDRs deficiencies
•Field services consolidations, sampling, and other assistance
•Some emergency response
•Assist Logistics Manager or Technical Operations Coordinator in QA/QC of outbound loads
•Other activities that will enhance operations
•Conducts daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements
•Contributes to the end-of-day check-in process, capturing and communicating key service, safety, and equipment issues.
•Comply with physicals, drug or alcohol tests, and training required by regulatory agencies
•Other duties as assigned
