We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Massachusetts Licensed Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. The Licensed Fire Protection Engineer will play a vital role in the design and implementation of fire protection systems and processes. Responsibilities & Duties:-
- Design fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems.
- Collaborate with other engineering and construction professionals to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in fire protection engineering and incorporate new technologies and techniques into designs and systems.
Qualifications & Skills:-
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required,
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fire protection engineering and design.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Fire Protection.
- Experience with fire modeling and simulation software.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Membership in professional organizations such as the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA, IBC, and OSHA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and building owners.
- Commitment to providing expert engineering solutions to ensure the safety and security of facilities.
