Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine diesel engines.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various marine vessels.
• Inspect and test engine systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their vessel's needs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in marine technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in marine mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience as a marine diesel technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
