**Mechanical Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team in the production of forklifts, pallet trucks, and masts. The ideal candidate will utilize blueprints, schematics, or verbal instructions to assemble products. This role involves operating overhead cranes, performing functional tests and inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm Pay: $20-$25/hr with room to grow!!! **Responsibilities** + Assemble forklifts, pallet trucks, or masts using blueprints, schematics, or verbal direction. + Operate overhead cranes to move larger parts or equipment. + Perform functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality before delivery to the final inspection area. + Assemble sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses, and parts of the forklift. + Maintain a clean and orderly work station at all times. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of mechanical assembly experience. + 2-3 years of hands-on automotive installation or repair experience. + Strong knowledge of hand and power tools. + Experience in a fast-paced production environment. + Automotive technician experience in installation, repair, or assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + **MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, GED, or COLLEGE DEGREE** + Automobile or truck mechanic experience preferred. + Proficient computer skills required. + Attention to detail and quality is a must. + Demonstrate teamwork skills. + Ability to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice. + Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a climate-controlled environment with long-term growth opportunities, as we plan to hire 400 people in the next two years.
