Peregrine Team is hiring for a  Medical Authorization & Front Office Specialist in  Irvine, CA . This position is a full-time, contract to hire role with full benefits and competitive pay.

Irvine, California, United States (On-site)

Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM

$25–$26/hr | Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Manage prior authorizations for procedures, tests, and medications, ensuring timely insurance approvals
• Verify patient insurance coverage and communicate requirements to staff and patients
• Greet patients, check them in, and assist with front desk operations
• Schedule appointments, answer calls, and manage patient inquiries professionally
• Assist the physician and medical team with administrative tasks and light back-office duties

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of  prior authorization experience in a medical office or specialty practice
• 1-2 years of front or back office experience in a medical setting preferred
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Reliable, professional, and able to handle multiple priorities
