Pediatric Registered Nurse – Travel Position Location: Bismarck, ND Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Nights Pay: $2,199.60/week Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse to join on a travel contract in Bismarck, ND. The Pediatric Nurse will provide high-quality care to children with a variety of acute medical needs in a 7-bed pediatric unit. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background, is adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to family-centered care. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other physician-ordered interventions.
• Monitor and document vital signs, responses to treatment, and changes in condition.
• Educate patients’ families on care plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing home care.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to pediatric emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatric specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float to other units as assigned when staffing needs require.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in North Dakota (or compact license).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-acuity pediatric situations.
