What You'll Actually Be Doing:

• Setting up and maintaining project data in financial management software
• Ensure that invoicing meets contract terms by coordinating with project managers for government projects
• Detective work: reviewing expenses, catching coding errors, making sure everything bills properly
• Problem-solving billing questions with clients and internal teams
• Managing contracts, budgets, certificates of insurance, and all those fun government forms
• Compiling government reports with your strong data mining and research skills

The Perfect Candidate:

• Detail-oriented but not obsessive
• Project accounting wizard with organizational superpowers
• Can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
• Independent worker who knows when to ask for backup
• Government contract and architecture, engineering, construction firm experience is a huge plus
• Accounting degree preferred, but relevant experience considered
