We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in a full-time, fully remote capacity based in Arizona. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and assisting in the maintenance of complete and compliant financial records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in accounting principles, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Experience within community health or healthcare settings is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and maintain general ledger accounts.
Support month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and report preparation.
Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.
Analyze financial data using accounting systems and reporting tools.
Maintain organized financial documentation and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $53,065 – $76,943 per year (DOE)

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, accounting software, and advanced Excel (PivotTables and graphs).
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Healthcare or community health experience preferred; knowledge of Peachtree, NextGen, report writer tools, programming concepts, and Adobe Standard a plus.
