**Responsibilities** The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the individual needs patients and their families, standards of nursing practice, relevant statutes and regulations, hospital policy and physician prescribed treatment plan. The Registered Nurse takes care of maternity patients, newborns, patients with normal or complicated pregnancy, and patients with gynecologic problems.
