As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol** in **San Jose, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation site and more .
As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. **What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
+ Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site-specific protocols.
+ Document incidents and observations in detailed reports as required by site procedures.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Must possess a valid (.40 Caliber) Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations.
+ Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
+ Must possess a valid California Armed Security Professional License if working in California.
+ Must have completed firearms acknowledgement and meet all firearms requirements, including possession of a valid sidearm, baton, handcuffs, and pepper spray as required for the post.
+ A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
