SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.

SIE is looking for a  Senior Field Engineer to support a high-profile project in Brewster, NY .  This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Construction management of rail projects
• Inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasks at multiple stations
• Reviewing contractor schedules and payments
• Conducting constructability review
• Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders

Qualification & Skills:  

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering (Preferred)
• Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
• Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR, Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ) 
• OSHA 30 and MNR Safety Training

Expected salary range is $120,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
