Job Title: Registered Nurse - Outpatient Cardiology
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced outpatient cardiology practice. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, support cardiologists in clinical procedures, and help manage patient flow throughout the office. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on nursing care to patients in an outpatient cardiology setting.
Assist with cardiac diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitor placements.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
Monitor and document patient vitals and symptoms.
Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
Coordinate patient care with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and OSHA regulations.
Support new patient onboarding, including reviewing medical histories and ensuring completion of necessary screenings and vaccinations.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of New York.
Prior experience in cardiology or outpatient care preferred.
BLS/ACLS certification required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills.

Work Environment
The position operates in a busy outpatient office setting, handling 50-100 patients a day. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 08:30 am - 05:00 pm. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hr.
