**Job Title: Tile Setter** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced and versatile tile installer who will be responsible for installing tiles on various surfaces such as floors, walls, ceilings, and countertops. **Responsibilities** + Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and priming before tile installation. + Measure and mark surfaces, cut tiles to fit using hand and power tools. + Apply adhesives, lay tiles in specified patterns, and ensure proper alignment and spacing. + Apply grout, clean excess materials, and seal tiles if necessary. + Replace broken tiles and perform touch-ups as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints. + Experience in tile installation and waterproofing. + Knowledge of caulking and construction processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing and construction environment. **Why Work Here?** This is not your typical construction job. Employees are expected to have good attitudes, attendance, and minimal cussing, as the production process also serves as a showroom for customers. The team size ranges from 80-120 employees depending on projects, with small teams for specific tasks like framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, paint, cutting, siding, finish, and cabinet building. Work hours are from 7 am to 5:30 pm with a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch, Monday through Thursday, requiring a 10-hour workday. Employees must arrive by 6:50 am for a 6:55 am crew meeting, with an optional worship session at 6:40 am. The dress code requires closed-toe work shoes or boots, shirts with sleeves, and shorts or pants that are longer than the tool belt. Sweatpants, leggings, or athletic wear are not permitted. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, TN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
