Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Psychiatrist to support the Assessments, Evaluation, and Review Services (AERS) program in Baltimore, MD. This role is vital in evaluating and supporting individuals with mental health needs, intellectual disabilities, and co-occurring conditions to ensure they receive appropriate care in the least restrictive environment.

Location: Baltimore City, Maryland

Key Responsibilities:  
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for AERS clients  
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RNs and social workers  
- Develop and review person-centered care plans  
- Provide clinical recommendations for Medicaid eligibility and service referrals  
- Ensure compliance with PASRR (Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review) requirements  

Qualifications:  
- MD or DO with active Maryland medical license  
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry  
- Experience with Medicaid populations and community-based mental health services preferred  
- Strong communication and documentation skills  
- Commitment to culturally competent and person-centered care
