Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab  

Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326 
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extendable) 
Schedule: 36 hours per week | 12-hour Day Shifts (3x12s) 

Role Summary  
We are seeking an experienced RN to join the Cath Lab team in providing high-quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The nurse will play a key role in preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-recovery care. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Prepare and assess patients prior to cardiac catheterization procedures 

• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and accurate monitoring 

• Provide safe recovery care and monitor for post-procedure complications 

• Educate patients and families on recovery guidelines and long-term care considerations 

• Collaborate with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes 

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and infection control protocols 

Qualifications  

• ASN required 

• BLS (AHA) required 

• Prior Cath Lab or critical care experience strongly preferred
